Maintains a teaching load of not more than two program courses per semester along with release time to achieve credit load.
Supports, recruits and advises students.
Assists faculty with developing instructional plans and materials.

Reviews and manages dental program resources and assists the Health Sciences dean with the budget
Observes faculty teaching in conjunction with meeting accreditation standards but not for evaluative purposes as they pertain to employment.
Schedules and assigns courses to appropriate faculty members for final review by the dean.
Coordinates outreach and admission of new students, monitors instructional needs, and satisfactory academic progress for student success.
Directs the assessment, revision, and development of curricula while enhancing the integration of simulation and test prep systems throughout the programs.
Ensures compliance with dental education accreditation bodies and regulatory agencies requirements, including annual program reports, website and published materials, periodic program self-study efforts, and preparation for site visits.

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree.
Two (2) years’ experience as a post-secondary dental educator.

Current Dental Assisting National Board “Certified Dental Assistant” or dentist licensed to practice in Iowa with occupational experience in the application of four-handed dentistry principles, either as a dental assistant or working with a chairside assistant.

Develop and implement commercial development strategies aligned with Charles County Economic Development’s strategic plan and the County's Comprehensive Plan.
Works directly with Director of Economic Development and staff to include departmental staff in Planning & Growth Management, Legal, Fiscal & Administrative Services, Public Works and others as needed.
Supports the Department’s targeted industry sectors attraction, retention, and expansion efforts.
Promote Charles County for business recruitment and retention at various events and meetings.
Prepares real estate market analyses for the office, industrial, and retail sectors. Prepares comprehensive geography-based market and current conditions analyses and revitalization strategies.
Develops status reports on projects. Communicates with, and makes presentations to, the Board of County Commissioners, Planning Commission, and key staff. Takes a leadership role in promoting and coordinating future projects and consultant services.
Participates and serves on committees and teams for various development projects within the County. Attends meetings offers valuable feedback and insight and seen as a subject matter expert for development.
Analyze commercial development project budgets and recommend funding mechanisms or cost sharing partnerships in order to achieve the project completion. Includes specific items to be funded by the private sector and the public sector.
Works on various intergovernmental coordination issues. Meets with various agencies on the county, state, and federal levels to promote development and transit services for Charles County. Solicits and manages the work of consultants as needed in order to fulfill the work related to future implementation in accordance with policies and programs. Researches and applies for grant opportunities to help complete various projects.
Performs business and economic analysis related to project costs and benefit analysis, and anticipated tax revenues for proposed projects. Works on potential establishment of special taxing districts or mechanisms to fund redevelopment.
Works with businesses, landowners, and other stakeholders in commercial development area(s) to ensure consistent on-going communication, address concerns, and identify opportunities and resources for participation and partnerships.
Researches, identifies, and coordinates financing and incentive programs to assist with commercial development and businesses located in the community.
Manage and provide guidance to commercial development team to ensure efficient and effective execution of projects.
Advises the Director on economic development expansion opportunities based on industry trends and competitive landscape.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Education and Experience: Master of Business Administration Degree, or Master’s degree in Urban or City Planning, Real Estate, Economic Development or a related field is preferred. Seven (7) years of progressively responsible related experience. Experience working with Revenue Authorities, such as Industrial Development Authority, Community Redevelopment Agency, and Economic Development Authority is preferred. Licenses or Certifications: Preferred: American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP); Association of Accredited Small Business Consultants (AASBC); Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, Accredited Professional (LEED AP); Certified Economic Developer (CEcD); and/or American Institute of Architecture (AIA) Licensed Architect. Job Summary
Hawkeye Community College’s Athletics program is looking for two part-time Assistant Wrestling Coaches to join their team.
The Assistant Wrestling Coach assists with the supervision and coaching of practices and competitions for the Wrestling program. This position will aid in recruiting student athletes, directing practices, managing practice and travel schedules, as well as, supervising team conduct during competition, travel, tournaments, and other events where the team is represented. Furthermore, this position participates in the planning, organizing, and execution of preseason and season practices in addition to fostering a positive team atmosphere and supporting student athletes’ academic progress, retention, and graduation through mentoring activities and guidance to appropriate support services. Due to the nature of the work involved in coaching; many weeks will entail morning, evening, and weekend hours. Needs of the department vary and the percent of time devoted to each part of the job will be governed by seasonal and immediate needs of the department.
In 2015, Hawkeye Community College launched its first ever intercollegiate sport program and has since accumulated 17 athletic programs to include: sports shooting, men & women’s soccer, men and women’s cross country, men & women’s track and field, men & women’s golf, women's volleyball, esports, competitive dance, women’s softball, men & women’s bowling, and men & women’s wrestling. Hawkeye Community College’s Athletics program is looking for two part-time Assistant Wrestling Coaches to join their team.
The Assistant Wrestling Coach assists with the supervision and coaching of practices and competitions for the Wrestling program. Verify and communicate the results obtained and to make the entries into the appropriate media.
Provide on the job assistance and receive training from more experienced inspectors.
To communicate and coordinate with terminal, transport and Company personnel to promote smooth exercise of duties assigned.
To monitor the availability of the supplies needed for the above processes, and to make any needs for such supplies known to the Dispatcher or Coordinator.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Must have basic grasp of basic mathematics and work in an automated environment.
Ability to work on an on-call basis.
Cannot have a fear of heights.
IFIA certified is a plus!
Ability to climb ladders and stairs for shore tanks.
Volume measurement, temperature measurement and sampling of commodity materials contained or conveyed in lines, shore tanks, cars, tank trucks and barges and ships.
Visual inspections on lines, pumps, manifolds, shore tanks, rail cars, tank trucks, barges and ships.
Complete custody transfer surveys of commodities transferred to and from rail cars, tank trucks, shore tanks, barges and ships.

Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
Must have or be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
