Food Service Worker (Junction City)
Salary Range: $2,823 - $3,707
The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) is expanding Oregon State Hospital's (OSH) infrastructure and currently has a fantastic opportunity for food service workers with commercial food service experience to join an excellent team and work to advance their operations. OHA promotes health equity by developing policies and programs to eliminate health disparities and reach health equity for all Oregonians.
The OSH provides patient-centered psychiatric treatment for adults with mental illness from throughout the state. The hospital's primary goal is to help people recover from their illness and return to their lives in the community. Employees play an essential role in achieving the hospital's vision to be a psychiatric hospital that inspires hope, promotes safety and supports recovery for all.
What you will do!
These positions are responsible for serving meals, operating cash register, delivering meals and products, preparing foods and dishing items for meals throughout the department. Tasks and duties will be assigned by supervising cooks and PIC.
Please note that if you apply for this position, Oregon State Hospital is a 24 hour, 7 days a week facility. If you are offered a position the shift could be a day, swing, night or weekend shift based upon the facility's needs at that time.
