Set-up, install and maintain gear associated with Radio/TV/IT areas such STL microwaves, stream encoders and decoders,Cisco switches, Nevion TSG-425 series IP gateways, and Cradlepoints
Performing regular maintenance and repair of broadcast and related equipment using knowledge and understanding of work tools, test equipment, and system operations on Gates Air Maxiva tv transmitters and Flexiva FM transmitters.
Prepare and execute regular maintenance schedules, reports, and documentation for the transmission sites, and engineering.
Assisting in the maintenance and installation of computer workstations and computer-based television production and automation broadcast equipment.
Maintaining equipment stocks and inventories, reports, keeping common areas clean and organized.
Some overnight or weekend hours may be required.
Other duties as directed by the Chief Engineer.

The ideal candidate must have at least a high school or equivalency education.
2 year AAS in Electronics is preferred but a general radio and/or television background in a broadcast facility would suffice.
General computer background with Windows OS, Google Sheets/Docs and GMAIL extremely helpful.
General familiarity with Office products such as Word/Excel and Powerpoint would be advantageous.
Experience/knowledge of non-linear editing systems, radio and television broadcast equipment, radio and television broadcast transmission equipment, computer-based production systems, microphones, multimedia journalist cameras.
Strong interpersonal, communication skills are critical to this role, as well as solid reporting and writing skills, combined with excellent organizational skills.

America Votes is currently seeking a Development & Grants Assistant to join our diverse and high performing Development & Grants team. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Development & Grants Assistant serves as the backbone of department operations by ensuring all administrative processes are in place to execute the department's work. Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the athletic education/instruction, development/training and evaluation of student-athletes.

Proven experience in higher education leading sustainability programming is desired. LEED Accredited Professional or closely related sustainability credentials is also preferred. Must have advanced knowledge and proficiency of the various aspects of sustainability on a large college campus. A demonstrated ability to identify and formulate long-term sustainability direction and goals with the ability to translate these long-term goals into short-term action items and operational activities is required. A cooperative and collaborative leadership style that emphasizes inclusion, integrity, honesty, openness and fairness is required. Must have leadership and management experience and skills focused around program development and execution, as well as, demonstrated ability to work across silos and between multiple entities to achieve stated goals or objectives is required. Strong customer service orientation and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships throughout the College with a diverse student body, faculty, staff and the Charleston community is also required. Must have a working knowledge in all Microsoft Office Suite, Google programs, Canva, social media outlets and MailChimp. Skills & Abilities: Extensive scientific HLA knowledge and technical skills in the following areas preferred: HLA serology and molecular genetics, HLA antibody screening /identification of HLA antibody specificity, cross matching techniques to support stem cell transplantation programs and platelet transfusion therapy and other areas in the field of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics. Demonstrate excellent customer service and positive professional image. Working knowledge or databases and big data, IT and genomic software to include NextGen sequence data.
