The Digital Sales Manager is responsible for all aspects of WOWT NBC Omaha’s digital advertising and Omaha Everyday platforms.  The expectation is to exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals.  Act as the Digital Point Person for all communication with Gray Digital Media, WOWT Advertising Sales staff and clients.  This includes developing sales initiatives, implementing day to day advertising campaigns, research, reporting, presentations and training.  The ideal candidate would possess a strong desire to win, have the ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 

Experience: Five years’ experience in broadcast sales or digital sales. Well versed in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Power Point and Excel. Experience with WideOrbit a plus. Strong business writing, listening and verbal communication skills. Google Analytics and DART for Publisher experience preferred but not required.

 

Qualifications: Prefer a bachelor’s degree in business Administration with an emphasis in marketing or advertising. Proven track record of sales success. Well versed in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Power Point and Excel. Experience with WideOrbit a plus. Strong business writing, listening and verbal communication skills. Google Analytics and DART for Publisher experience preferred but not required. Prior Management skills.

Valid Driver’s license, and good driving record (will be reviewed)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work with other departments with diplomacy to resolve conflicts and to facilitate sales department needs. Welcome change and new responsibilities with enthusiasm. Must maintain business like and professional dress and appearance. Ability to perform tasks associated with office duties. Valid driver’s license and good driving record (will be reviewed) Able to transport oneself to client meetings and on location shoots. Sitting or standing for long periods of time. Must be able to handle repetitive motion (typing). Able to lift and move up to 40lbs box of paper.  Work schedule may vary depending upon workload and may increase during heavy sales and reporting periods. Must have regular and timely attendance and flexibility for changing Operational needs, attendance may be required at meetings and/or functions outside of the office beyond regular office hours. Consistent tardiness will not be tolerated. Pre-employment drug screening and random drug testing is possible throughout employment.
