Travel to other centers to transport and test livestock, feed, supplies and materials related to feeding, animal health, animal welfare, equipment needs or facility maintenance and building needs.

Job Summary
Clark County Public Works is currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join its Engineering & Design Section, one of a handful of groups that make up its Engineering & Construction Division. The 10-person Engineering and Design Section has the tight-knit feel of a small firm with access to the expertise and resources of the larger Clark County Public Works organization. The team is production oriented with a focus on design and plan production to support the County’s Capital Improvement Programs. Engineering and Design Section engineers design county infrastructure and have opportunities for career development through planning, project development, project management, emergency response assistance and other interesting and challenging work. This position will be primarily focused on civil roadway and stormwater design with opportunities for stormwater modeling, specification, and standards development. This is a professional level engineering position for the Department of Public Works. Qualifications
Education and Experience:
B.S. degree in Civil or related Engineering and two (2) years of experience in an Engineer II or equivalent position and registration as a professional civil or structural engineer.

Coordinates with Planning and Permit staff in the review of development plans for sewer and storm drainage; residential and commercial street development; and profiles of short‑plats and sub‑divisions to ensure compliance with County standards and policies. With input from the divisions of Transportation, Design and Maintenance, makes recommendations regarding changes necessary for achieving compliance. LCV is hiring a Director of Planned Giving who will be responsible for growing and managing the Legacy Society, our planned giving program, to help meet our strategic plan fundraising goals. The Director of Planned Giving drives strategy to grow the Legacy Society and meet revenue goals to benefit LCV and its sister organization, LCV Education Fund. Additionally, through a new collaborative program, Unified Fundraising, the Director will help develop a pilot program to integrate LCV’s planned giving program with those of 7-10 state affiliates across the Conservation Voter Movement (CVM).
The Director of Planned Giving shapes and grows a model for a planned giving program that ensures the longevity of the organizations and supports future programs and strategy. The Director of Planned Giving, in coordination with the Vice President of Development Marketing and Engagement, manages the marketing outreach program to quickly scale up the Legacy Society. This position will also work closely with the Senior Director of Unified Fundraising to develop the new pilot program and Major Gifts Team to provide planned giving resources and training and directly engage donors, as needed. They will manage their own portfolio of current and prospective planned giving donors and provide personalized stewardship throughout the year.
Responsibilities: Direct Fundraising
Secure new bequest intentions for LCV and LCV Education Fund.
Manage the LCV and LCV Education Fund Legacy Society, ensuring appropriate stewardship with existing planned gift donors and building the reputation of the Society.
Respond to inquiries by prospective donors in a timely manner. Address donor questions and concerns about planned giving.
Arrange virtual and in-person visits with donors and prospects throughout the country to solicit new gifts, reconfirm commitments, and provide stewardship and other engagement.

Work closely with the major gifts team in the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of planned giving prospects and current Legacy Society members. Lead planned giving trainings and provide planned giving updates on a regular basis.

LCV is hiring a Director of Planned Giving who will be responsible for growing and managing the Legacy Society, our planned giving program, to help meet our strategic plan fundraising goals. The Director of Planned Giving drives strategy to grow the Legacy Society and meet revenue goals to benefit LCV and its sister organization, LCV Education Fund. Additionally, through a new collaborative program, Unified Fundraising, the Director will help develop a pilot program to integrate LCV’s planned giving program with those of 7-10 state affiliates across the Conservation Voter Movement (CVM).
The Director of Planned Giving shapes and grows a model for a planned giving program that ensures the longevity of the organizations and supports future programs and strategy. The Director of Planned Giving, in coordination with the Vice President of Development Marketing and Engagement, manages the marketing outreach program to quickly scale up the Legacy Society. This position will also work closely with the Senior Director of Unified Fundraising to develop the new pilot program and Major Gifts Team to provide planned giving resources and training and directly engage donors, as needed. They will manage their own portfolio of current and prospective planned giving donors and provide personalized stewardship throughout the year.
Responsibilities: Direct Fundraising
Secure new bequest intentions for LCV and LCV Education Fund.
Manage the LCV and LCV Education Fund Legacy Society, ensuring appropriate stewardship with existing planned gift donors and building the reputation of the Society.
Respond to inquiries by prospective donors in a timely manner. Address donor questions and concerns about planned giving.
Arrange virtual and in-person visits with donors and prospects throughout the country to solicit new gifts, reconfirm commitments, and provide stewardship and other engagement.
Upon notification of gift or future gift intention, ensure donors are thanked. Record donor information and update records as needed in the appropriate database.
Expand portfolio of prospective donors to include more people of color; broaden our current methods of identifying, cultivating and soliciting such donors.
Educate our current and prospective donors about LCV and LCV Education Fund’s programs, including how we are elevating racial justice and equity in the work that we do.
Planning, Strategy and Management
Work with LCV’s State Capacity Building Team and State Affiliate Development staff to build, grow, and maintain a Unified Fundraising strategy around planned giving. Partner in launching the pilot program around Unified Fundraising for planned giving.
Work closely with the major gifts team in the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of planned giving prospects and current Legacy Society members. Lead planned giving trainings and provide planned giving updates on a regular basis.
Work with the Development Marketing Team to generate new physical and digital marketing materials to distribute to prospects and donors and ensure planned giving content on the LCV website reflects best practices. Manage and build out a Planned Giving Resource Library and various planned giving marketing campaigns. Help guide marketing strategy for the program.
Lead strategy with the marketing team Development Marketing Team and to craft email and direct mail campaigns that generate new Legacy Society members.
Manage day-to-day relationships with vendors who work with the planned giving program.
Execute and assist with administrative duties related to planned giving program which may include contract approvals, data entry, and other record keeping.
Travel up to 10% of the time for in-state visits with state affiliate staff, retreats, training, and conferences, as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Work Experience: Required – 5+ years of experience in fundraising, including a successful track record of personally meeting with donors and closing gifts. Experience directly qualifying, cultivating, and soliciting planned giving prospects, including developing solicitation strategy from identification through stewardship. Experience managing a planned giving program or large portfolio. Preferred – Issue advocacy, organizing and/or political fundraising experience. Working knowledge of compliance issues and regulations related to 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations. Working knowledge of estate planning and planned giving strategies and tax treatments (e.g. trusts, charitable gift annuities, beneficiary designated gifts and life insurance). Direct response marketing experience. Experience working within an affiliated organizational network, ideally experience with collaborative fundraising in the network. Experience working across teams.

Our Central Investigations and Audits Unit (CIAU) is recruiting for multiple fact-finding Investigator's for their Inspection team!
Our Business & Professions Division (BPD) has 39 business and professional licensing program and overall manages 42 programs, providing oversight of Combative Sports events, maintaining Uniform Commercial Code filings, administering the Prorate and Fuel Tax program, Performing Rights Society registration and maintaining the Firearms database for law enforcement. Central Services provides support to these programs through coordination of the division's legislative and rulemaking processes, performance measures, contract management, data and reporting, systems oversight, project implementation and OCM support, and stakeholder outreach support. Duties
As an Investigator, you will be an integral part of this successful team. Using your abilities, you will be conducting objective investigations into cosmetology industry businesses and take equitable and appropriate administrative action. Using your customer service expertise and your ability to effectively communicate well and at times share best business practices through education of state laws to help prevent further issues. Furthermore, you will safeguard sensitive information and evidence collected during the inspection process. Your efforts will combine accountability, education, and detail inspection collection to help consumer confidence and business effectiveness across the state. Some of what you will do:
Conduct inspections on business establishments across Washington.
Provide education and technical assistance to cosmetology industry members.
Enter inspection data into our internal system and refer to legal compliance when required.
Gather and document evidence, obtain statements of fact, field investigations and research, analyze, and evaluate information from multiple sources.
Discuss progress of cases, report findings, and review completion rates with management, supervisors, and other investigators.
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role:
Two (2) years of relevant experience in the following:
Effectively identifying, collecting, organizing, and documenting data in ways that make the information most useful for subsequent assessment, analysis, investigation, and discipline.
Communicating effectively both verbally, and written when presenting to stakeholders, Board and Commissions, and/or the public in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.
Experience may be obtained concurrently.
What may help set you apart:
Three (3) years of professional investigative experience to include: identifying, collecting, organizing data and investigative case writing.
Bilingual or able to conduct complete investigations in more than one language fluently.
Training which includes dealing with people who may be confused or misunderstanding expectations.
Experience and training focused on dealing with difficult work situations and de-escalation skills.
Familiarity with the basic functions of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Additional Conditions of employment:
Ability to travel throughout the state for investigations including overnight stays.
A valid driver's license.
Prior to a new hire, a background check including criminal record history will be conducted. Information from the background check will not necessarily preclude employment but will be considered in determining the applicant’s suitability and competence to perform in the position.
In addition, an acceptable fingerprint based criminal history background check is also required for this position, as a condition of employment. Fingerprints will be used to check the criminal history records of the FBI. You will have the capability to review and challenge any record through the FBI .
