Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

Cadmus Group is looking for a consultant to support our federal client as a member of the Organizational Readiness (OR) team. You will be working with clients and other consultant team members to fulfill Enterprise Organizational Readiness (EOR), program OR, and Technical Integration activities and needs. In addition, you will support planning, initiation, and management of work products and deliverables.  Primarily responsible for demonstrating strong organizational skills including planning, scheduling, documenting, and action item tracking with minimal supervision; independently performing responsibilities as needed; communicating stakeholders’ goals and representing the stakeholders’ interest to the team; customer communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on customer deliverables; providing project status reports, addressing issues and problems as appropriate.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a point of contact for clients
  • Coordinate and manage tasked assignments
  • Work with EOR coach to ensure alignment to Enterprise standards
  • Support client in fostering opportunities to align stakeholders and prepare teams for upcoming changes (technology, process)
  • Strategize and develop processes/process improvements
  • Plan and facilitate recurring activities including Release Kickoffs, Component Workshops, Tabletop/Working sessions, Organizational Readiness Assessments
  • Track and maintain program Kanban and Gap Log; Facilitate meetings to support work product development and gap remediation
  • Support client meetings: prepare materials, capture and distribute notes and action items
  • Conduct data calls, generate reports for the program team and executive leadership
  • Support program EOR Workbook development
  • Develop program Pulse Check reports to support coordination with the Release Team
  • Periodically review status of actionable program Lessons Learned to identify potential program gaps requiring escalation
  • Participate in internal Team meetings, track deliverable status, issues, and risks; Support team members

Qualifications

  • Minimum Education Requirement:  Bachelor’s Degree in related field  
  • 7-10 years of experience supporting large IT initiatives 
  • Organized with natural agility to move seamlessly from strategic tasks (developing strategic plans, briefing client executives on recommendations) to tactical tasks (preparing PowerPoint briefings, recording meeting outcomes) as needed 
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle 
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others 
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) and a gift for creating briefings and documents that tell a compelling, relevant and data-driven story 
  • Experience in IT, professional services firms, and/or government a plusAn active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred, but not required

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen.

The minimum starting salary for this position is $85,000. The actual salary may be higher and will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
