Position Overview

The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Clinical Director for the Mabley Developmental Center located in Dixon, Illinois. The incumbent will be responsible for all clinical psycho-social and habilitative programs and active treatment, development and rehabilitation of persons with a developmental disability. The Clinical Director will coordinate activities of clinical programs with nursing and medical staff, develop, establish, and implement goals and objectives for the center’s Strategic Plan for all clinical programs. Job Responsibilities

1. Serves as Clinical Director for the Mabley Developmental Center.
2. Develops and implements contemporary psychological/clinical programs.
3. Serves as a full-line supervisor.
4. Attends treatment team meetings on a regular basis and provides treatment team staff with guidance and direction in optimal treatment planning.
5. Writes, reviews and maintains various facility manuals which govern the areas of Admissions and Discharges, Clinical Assessment, Treatment Planning and Patient Care Monitoring.
6. Serves and participates on various facility committees; confirms timely follow-up on problems identified through the facilities Quality Assurance programs; serves as Administrator on Duty (AOD) as designated by the Center Director or Assistant Center Director.
7. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
