This position falls under the Information Systems Specialist 6 classification.

 

What you will do!

This position supports software development and operations (DevOps) support activities on the OR-Kids (SACWIS and CCWIS) system. The person in the position works in one or more of the following activities.

 

  • Microsoft Virtual Server Configuration and Support.
  • Support Cloud Production deployments
  • JBOSS Middleware Administration (EAP, JWS, JON).
  • Systems Monitoring utilizing tools and scripting.
  • Participates in efforts to upgrade the infrastructure, technology, and architecture of the system.
  • Leverages AI where applicable
  • Work with software development teams to support test and production environments including enhancements as needed.

The position requires the candidate to work closely with technical team members to develop and implement solutions. The position works closely with business analysts to understand business requirements, specify technical requirements, and test new features.

 

What we are looking for!

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: (Please clearly outline how you meet the minimum requirements and special qualifications in your application/resume/cover letter. Failure to do so will disqualify you from consideration)

 

(a) Five (5) years of information systems experience in Development experience in test environments.

 

OR

 

(b) An Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field.

AND

three (3) years of information systems experience in Development experience in test environments.

 

OR

 

(c) A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

AND

one (1) year of information systems experience in Development experience in test environments.

 

OR

 

(d) Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field may substitute for all of the above.

Working Conditions:

Staff working remote shall:
