The Division of Family and Community Services is seeking to hire a Specialist for the Violence Prevention Program for the Chicago Southern Region. This position communicates and works closely with providers regarding the awards, responds to questions and addresses financial issues with providers regarding the grant award. Reviews provider periodic performance reports; notifies the Office of Fiscal Services staff about approved budgets and any advance payment authorizations to ensure the payment amount is awarded to each institution; monitors stop-payment list to determine if any providers appear on the list; recommends and implements policy and procedures to immediate supervisor as it relates to the programs; participates in training, technical assistance and support meetings for providers located throughout the state.
Job Responsibilities
Serves as the Violence Prevention (VP) Program Specialist for the Bureau of Violence Prevention Services for the Chicago Southern Region (CSR).
Communicates and works closely with providers regarding the awards.

Minimum Qualifications
Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college, preferably with coursework in business or public administration.
Requires one (1) year of responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization, or completion of an agency approved professional management training program.
Preferred Qualifications
Four (4) years of professional experience utilizing the principles and practices of public and business administration.
Four (4) years of professional experience working with the principles of governmental accounting, program budgeting, personnel, statistics, and procurement, including an understanding of the Illinois Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA 30 ILCS 708) and related administrative grant rules including grant making procedures.
Four (4) years of professional experience ensuring accurate processing of documents with few if any errors.
Two (2) years of professional experience analyzing administrative problems and adopting an effective course of action.
Two (2) years of professional experience developing, installing, and evaluating new and revised methods, procedures.
Two (2) years of professional experience exercising judgment and discretion in developing, implementing, and interpreting departmental policies and procedures.
Two (2) years of professional experience developing and maintaining cooperative working relationships.

Purpose Reporting to the Head of Printed & Published Media and Metadata Services, the Metadata Specialist engages in metadata analysis, remediation and/or enhancement to support improved discovery, access, and accurate representation of the Ransom Center's collections in a manner that is respectful to the individuals and communities who create, use, and are represented in them.
Success in this position requires a combination of analytical skills, creative thinking, and eagerness to experiment and learn new tools for problem solving and efficiency gains.
Responsibilities
Works collaboratively with the Unit Head to analyze legacy and newly created descriptive metadata distributed in different systems (QI, CONTENTdm, Alma/Primo, SQL databases) encoded in different formats and metadata schemas (MARC, EAD, Dublin Core, etc...) for quality, consistency, completeness and adequacy to facilitate coherent aggregation with other data and display on the Center’s Website
Performs activities in support of controlled vocabularies and entity management workflows, including reconciliation with external data sources (LCNAF, VIAF, ULAN, SNAC, Wikidata)
Participates in the Unit standards discussion meetings and contributes to documentation development and maintenance efforts
Communicates with metadata stakeholders, including colleagues from the Technical and Digital Services Division, the Research Services Division and Curatorial Services, providing input for appropriate meetings and committees as needed
Takes part in professional development activities, including attending workshops, webinars, and conferences, to stay informed of evolving cataloging trends, and changes in best practices and standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a field relevant to the position
Experience managing metadata, including data standardization, remediation, mapping, and repurposing metadata for reuse
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with data cleanup and transformation tools such as OpenRefine
Experience working with APIs
Knowledge of entity management and linked data principles

What is a Volunteer Support Specialist?
The Volunteer Support Specialist is responsible for duties relating to the onboarding and retention of volunteers and girl members. Responsible for implementing and assessing comprehensive year-round membership support strategies that increase girl and volunteer membership and enhance retention. The Volunteer Support Specialist develops and works closely with teams of service unit volunteers and direct-service volunteers to ensure they have the necessary resources to provide high-quality program experiences to girls. **It is required that this Membership Specialist resides within (or very close proximity to) Metro Denver, Colorado, USA.
Develop, cultivate, and support relationships with service unit and troop volunteers in assigned area to support delivery of Girl Scout programming.
Develop and implement volunteer support plans that align with organizational strategy in volunteer and youth retention, GSLE delivery, service unit development, and volunteer communications, assessment and recognition.
Support troop leadership teams and caregivers in completing renewal of their Girl Scout membership on an annual basis. Communicate that membership registration is a requirement of participation in the Girl Scout program.
Provide ongoing support, supervision, and direction to administrative volunteers in assigned geographic areas by interpreting Girl Scouts of the USA and council policies, standards, and procedures and by directing volunteers to additional support services.
Support service unit development and maintenance through implementation of recruitment and support strategies.

What is a Volunteer Support Specialist?
The Volunteer Support Specialist is responsible for duties relating to the onboarding and retention of volunteers and girl members. Responsible for implementing and assessing comprehensive year-round membership support strategies that increase girl and volunteer membership and enhance retention. What is an On-Call Membership Specialist?
The on-call Membership Support Specialist supports the recruitment and retention of Girl Scout volunteers and members through program delivery and logistic support of recruitment events.
They are responsible for attending community-based events where they will promote Girl Scouts, answer questions about the program, and facilitate basic activities. This position will collect contact information for prospective members and volunteers and connect them with the local Program and Membership Experience team.
The on-call Membership Support Specialist will have access to a monthly listing of work opportunities including but not limited to recruitment events, program events, and general office and administrative work.
The on-call Membership Support Specialist will work no more than 10 hours per month.

Provide ongoing support, supervision, and direction to administrative volunteers in assigned geographic areas by interpreting Girl Scouts of the USA and council policies, standards, and procedures and by directing volunteers to additional support services.
Identify the need for and provides timely problem solving and conflict resolution support/intervention when appropriate.
Serve as the main point of contact for geographic area volunteers relaying pertinent information to council staff and to guide volunteers to additional support services and resources.
Work collaboratively with all Council departments to ensure council program and initiatives are successfully marketed to youth and adult membership.
Provide professional, superior customer service to all internal and external customers, members, volunteers, staff and other community contacts in person, electronically and by phone.
Volunteer & Member Recruitment
Through analysis of community needs, demographic data and membership statistics, develop, design and conduct recruitment and retention plan for youth and volunteer membership growth in designated geographic areas.
Establish the appropriate volunteer support team to accomplish key priorities by selecting, appointing, and coaching volunteers in assigned geographic areas.
Membership Conversion
Guide potential adult and youth members on the Salesforce pipeline through conversion by phone calls, emails, etc.
Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity in a timely fashion.
Coordinate the placement of registered Girl Scouts into appropriate troops.
Coordinate the placement of registered adults into appropriate volunteer roles.
Ensure that diversity and pluralism is embraced and incorporated into the daily work of the position.

This position is a key ally for the leadership of the Energy Office and the teams working across the office on innovative programs to reduce emissions and serve the people of Colorado. The Operations team is a crucial resource for the program teams as they apply for, administer, and report on both federal and state funding and grants. The Operations team is seeking a detail-oriented team player who can support program managers and Directors throughout the Energy Office in their work, particularly with new federal grants from the IRA and IIJA.

Support CEO’s program teams in managing Federal grants- Review all federal grant opportunities, provide analysis and recommendations
Coordinate and submit federal budgets & budget modifications for federal grants
Work with Sr Budget Analyst to ensure federal budget or budget modifications coordinates with the officewide budget
Use PAGE federal grant reporting system to help project teams administer federal grants-
Prepare and submit annual budgets, budget changes & updates
Quarterly financial and performance reports
Annual & semi annual Davis Bacon Act and other reports as needed
Reconcile grant expenditures, revenue, and receivable each month
Work with Accounting to correct general ledger coding
Calculate and reconcile monthly federal grant cash draws

Track and alert program staff when a competitive grant is due
Manage CEO Indirect federal grants budget and payments to Gov Office
Assist Gov Office in calculating Indirect cost for the Long Bill
Assist Gov Office to negotiate the Indirect Cost Rate with federal cognizant agency
Manage the budgets for all federal grants
Work with Program staff and Directors to develop and balance grant budgets
Ensure budget meets grant requirements (ie admin, payroll, etc)
Monitor and communicate grant expenditure progress
Calculate and book carryforward spending authority
Manage allowability of grant expenditures (grant requirements)
Manage certified payrolls
Maintain CEO Payroll Distribution forecast
Ensure payroll documents are updated
Prepare and submit annual, new hire, separation
Input grant documents into the state accounting system
Act as Energy Office representative to Statewide Grant Manager’s Group at the Office of the State Controller (OSC)

Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights
At least one year experience working with federal grants.
Experience should be related to grant budget, applications, grant accounting , audit & monitoring.
A bachelor’s degree in a related field (business administration, public administration, public policy, accounting, or a related field),
or 1-2 years of related work experience in policy, budgeting, or data management and analysis.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience successfully completing quantitative and qualitative analysis projects, including synthesizing complex data and information from a wide variety of sources into easy-to-navigate datasets
Candidates must have strong written and oral communication skills, especially with an ability to express complex ideas clearly and concisely

Reconcile grant expenditures, revenue, and receivable each month
Work with Accounting to correct general ledger coding
Calculate and reconcile monthly federal grant cash draws
Collaborate with project staff across the Energy office to prioritize and manage competitive grant applications
Identify grant opportunities that may be relevant to CEO
Track and alert program staff when a competitive grant is due
Manage CEO Indirect federal grants budget and payments to Gov Office
Assist Gov Office in calculating Indirect cost for the Long Bill
Assist Gov Office to negotiate the Indirect Cost Rate with federal cognizant agency
Manage the budgets for all federal grants
Work with Program staff and Directors to develop and balance grant budgets
Ensure budget meets grant requirements (ie admin, payroll, etc)
Monitor and communicate grant expenditure progress
Calculate and book carryforward spending authority
Manage allowability of grant expenditures (grant requirements)
Manage certified payrolls
Maintain CEO Payroll Distribution forecast
Ensure payroll documents are updated
Prepare and submit annual, new hire, separation
Input grant documents into the state accounting system
Act as Energy Office representative to Statewide Grant Manager’s Group at the Office of the State Controller (OSC)
Work closely with OSC for reporting on grant and stimulus progress

At least one year experience working with federal grants.
Experience should be related to grant budget, applications, grant accounting , audit & monitoring.
A bachelor’s degree in a related field (business administration, public administration, public policy, accounting, or a related field),

Candidates must have demonstrated experience successfully completing quantitative and qualitative analysis projects, including synthesizing complex data and information from a wide variety of sources into easy-to-navigate datasets
Candidates must have strong written and oral communication skills, especially with an ability to express complex ideas clearly and concisely

Position Overview
The Division of Mental Health is seeking to hire a Physician Specialist Option D for the Joliet Inpatient Treatment Center (JITC) located in Joliet, Illinois to serve as a medical specialist in psychiatry in providing services to mentally ill patients. Practices as a Psychiatrist and performs general physician duties for the JITC MH units. Determines psychiatric diagnosis on the treatment unit. Assists and/or coordinates the treatment planning for various types of patients. Assures that the clinical services are appropriate to the population with mental illness/developmental disability and to the mental and physical developmental stages of the individual patients. Job Responsibilities
Practices as a medical specialist in psychiatry in providing services to mentally ill patients. Practices as a Psychiatrist utilizing psychiatry and general physician duties for the Joliet Inpatient Treatment Center (JITC) Mental Health (MH) units.
Serves as a unit Psychiatrist and coordinates treatment plans for optimum patient care.
Serves as consultant to other non-psychiatric physicians and professional staff on the unit regarding patient progress, medical or psychometric procedures and development of overall treatment plan.
Facilitates and provides guidance in the development of treatment plans that represents a collaborative approach towards recovery driven treatment of patients.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a valid State of Illinois Physician and Surgeon License.
Requires American Board Certification in the job-related medical specialty of psychiatry.
Preferred Qualifications
Two (2) years of professional experience evaluating the quality of specialized medical care and treatment for patients with a mental illness.
Two (2) years of professional experience coordinating medical services with other professional disciplines and supportive personnel.
Two (2) years of professional experience conducting psychiatric exams of patients.

These positions are responsible for developing and delivering activities designed to promote individual and community change. Duties include focusing on social determinants of health, referral outreach and care coordination, health education, community engagement and health promotion. The Community Health Specialist 2 positions will work with both clients in custody and within the community. You will develop rapport and engage justice involved clients while assisting Probation and Parole officers with case planning and community program referrals.
The CHS2 will assess the needs of individuals currently involved with the justice system and their families to help identify risk factors and make appropriate referrals based on those risks and needs. The CHS 2 will spend the majority of their time with clients in the community or in community corrections offices.
Typical tasks include:
Direct Client Service and Documentation: respond to referrals for care coordination, individual and family support, health promotion, and referral to community and social support services based on needs and risks of the client, based on their assessment and case plan.
Prepare and collaborate on safety plans for clients and families.
Health Care Assessment: Assess individuals and recognize social and mental health risk factors. Conduct health care screenings and coordinate health care while working directly with a Parole and Probation Officer to create a case plan.
Health and Treatment Navigation: Assist individuals and families in navigating health and mental health systems.

The Data Equity Business Analyst (OPA3) will work within a Data Equity team that works in partnership with HPA data analysis and reporting teams, and teams from the Equity and Inclusion Division (E&I) and the Office of Information Services (OIS). Oregon Health Authority has a unique Limited Duration opportunity for a Public Affairs Specialist 1 to join a team working to improve health outcomes of Oregonians impacted by racism through the development of a novel mobile health unit pilot program.

This posting will be used to fill one (1) 24-month Limited Duration, full-time position. The position is classified and is represented by a union.
Work Location: Salem/Marion or Portland/Multnomah; hybrid position
What you will do!
Coordination, communications, and outreach work across the Community Engagement Team and Medicaid, including building communications and community engagement plans.
Assisting with improving health outcomes of Oregonians impacted by racism; helping convene an advisory committee and facilitate the committee’s work. The committee will guide the development of a pilot program to operate culturally and linguistically specific to mobile health units.
Planning and organizing ongoing meetings, locate and arrange for speakers, coordinate and arrange for reprographic needs, like publishing of conference promotional materials, and individual needs of speakers or participants. Issuing grants and administering contracts with grant recipients. Participating in the creation of the feasibility of expanding mobile health units throughout the state and writing interim and final reports to the legislative assembly.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Minimum Qualifications
Three years technical or higher-level experience directly related to the position under recruitment.
OR
A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or the Behavioral or Social Sciences or related degree.
Desired Attributes
Preference may be given for the ability to read, write, speak and interpret English and one of the 5 most common languages in Oregon other than English (Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, Russian, and Korean) with full proficiency in a culturally humble manner.
Evidence of ongoing development of personal cultural awareness and humility, and knowledge of social determinants of health and their impacts on health outcomes.
Experience supporting/facilitating the development and implementation of policies and programs at the community, state, and/or national level that promote equity and inclusion and address systemic health disparities, with an emphasis on integrating the voice of consumers with lived experience.
Experience in collaborating with diverse populations most harmed by social injustice and inequities; demonstrated ability to build and steward positive relationships with diverse community groups including communities of color, immigrant groups, the disability and neurodivergent communities, veterans, older adults, individuals identifying as LGBTQIA2S+ and other communities that have been traditionally marginalized.
Knowledge of health services delivery systems, particularly the Oregon Health Plan/ Medicaid Administration in Oregon.
Strong communication skills across a variety of forms that demonstrate the ability to facilitate appreciative inquiry, foster trust and transparency, and promote human-centered change management.
Experience developing communication plans, communication materials including social media content, guidance documents and resources, especially as it relates to program and policy development.
Experience applying principles and methods of web site information architecture and design layout.
Experience communicating qualitative and quantitative information, verbal and written, that are accessible to and understood by audiences with different levels of comprehension or interest and that are culturally responsive, inclusive, and appropriate.
Ability to demonstrate advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook skillset; and skilled use of collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Smartsheet.
