The James City County Social Services Department seeks an individual to perform advanced work managing aspects of program development, process improvements, quality assurance and staff development for the provision of the Child and Family Services Programs of the Department of Social Services. Works collaboratively with agency staff and community partners to bring about system change and process improvements.
Responsibilities:
Provides effective supervision of assigned staff including selection, performance management, employee relations, training, prioritizing, and assigning work and related activities.

What is a Volunteer Support Specialist?
The Volunteer Support Specialist is responsible for duties relating to the onboarding and retention of volunteers and girl members. What is an On-Call Maintenance Specialist? The Maintenance Specialist Assists in the care and maintenance of assigned property in an on-call and year-round basis.
This role also works with the entire camp team to deliver services and maintain the site in a safe working order at Tomahawk Ranch, a Girl Scouts of Colorado (GSCO) camp property. Additionally, this role supports the hospitality, operational, program, health, & cabin leadership team as needed as part of the Tomahawk Ranch team. Camp Facility Responsibilities
Assists with property security practices & procedures.
Assists in the care for and maintenance of camp facilities, grounds including roads & fences, property & program equipment, and machinery are in safe, well-functioning, working, and clean condition.
To help reduce the level of risk, ensures that all safety-related projects/needs are completed in a swift and timely manner and helps prepare facilities for changing weather conditions.
Responsible for performing various skilled trade tasks for facility maintenance and construction projects.
Cross Functional Work
Supports care of livestock, providing feeding, and daily chores.
Assists with the delivery of equipment, machinery, luggage, and various materials when needed.
Deliver emergency support during on-site incidents.
Provide and support safe and healthy practices.
In coordination with the camp team, facilitate camper program delivery, check-in & check-out procedures, orientation, and other operational logistics.
Assist with the management of site and program equipment, including storage, care, inventory, and maintenance.
Provide additional support as necessary to facility staff, camp team, kitchen, and housekeeping staff members.
Administration
Manage administrative responsibilities in a timely, independent, and detail-oriented manner.
Participate in regular staff meetings and training for planning purposes, communication resolutions, and carrying out assignments.
Provide & participate in staff feedback forms as necessary for the camp's overall strategic planning.

What is an On-Call Maintenance Specialist? The Maintenance Specialist Assists in the care and maintenance of assigned property in an on-call and year-round basis.
This role also works with the entire camp team to deliver services and maintain the site in a safe working order at Tomahawk Ranch, a Girl Scouts of Colorado (GSCO) camp property. The Department of Community Justice (DCJ) is recognized as a national leader in both adult and juvenile community justice. DCJ routinely consults and makes use of evidence-based practices in our program and policy development. The Department's commitment to data-informed decision-making has led DCJ to make smart investments of taxpayer dollars in supervision, sanctions, and services for the county's highest risk and highest need justice-involved individuals. DCJ makes long-term investments in its employees through the provision of education and training. Serving the Public, Even During Disasters
Everyday, Multnomah County staff work together to serve as a safety net for our communities. During a disaster, this safety net becomes even more critical. All County employees have a role in serving the public during inclement weather, natural disaster, or other types of community emergency response. During these emergency responses, while typically there begins with a call for volunteers, county employees may ultimately be reassigned from their current position to a role in the emergency response in order to support the critical needs presented by our communities. What you will do!
This position supports OHA's establishment and monitoring of program strategies, goals, and program priorities, including the design, development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and maintenance of OHA business systems and processes. The primary purpose of this position is to guide OHA efforts to establish a high functioning statewide Behavioral Health Crisis system. Activities include improving upon existing capabilities by analyzing user needs against existing crisis system components, identifying points of connection between related data sources, and preparing recommendations to improve data system operation supporting crisis system users. Using their expertise, this position will recommend policies and procedures, technologies, or other strategic priorities to reflect system integration goals.
This position is responsible for identifying data needs across DHS, OHA, other state agencies, and Stakeholder groups including 9-1-1, 2-1-1, and county behavioral health hotlines to support accurate, equitable, and effective systems and operational processes for OHA programs and crisis system service delivery. This position will support the development of recommendations to the state legislature on technology investments necessary to achieve alignment with national crisis system best practices.

General Responsibilities
Responsible for the daily feeding & care of barn animals.
With the support of supervisors, provide emergency care to barn animals.
Assist the Equine staff with care & management of horse program as needed/assigned.
Support the greenhouse/garden specialist as needed/assigned.
Provide and/or support emergency procedures during on-site and off-site trip incidents.

Responsible for the care, cleanliness, maintenance, and inventory of assigned program area and support the entire Ranch team maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all Ranch areas.
Camper Leadership & Supervision
Support & counsel campers in daily living, camp activities, and developing peer relationships.
Staff Leadership & Supervision
Train & orient of proper use of specialized areas, materials, and delivery of program.
Verify staff competence before assigning them supervisory role. Monitor their performance throughout the season.
Administration
Manage administrative responsibilities in a timely, independent, and detail-oriented manner.
Work on the development, review, and assist in the creation of daily, weekly, and activity schedules, in cooperation with other staff, based on camp program, camper planning, and camp goals.
Provide & participate in camper and staff feedback forms as necessary for the overall camp's strategic planning.
Participate in regular staff meetings and training for planning purposes, communication resolutions, and carrying out assignments.
Coordinate and communicate schedules to campers & staff as necessary.
Carry out ongoing observations to assure that goals and expectations of leadership & program delivery are positive and appropriate.
Interact with digital systems including WorkBright, Slack, Instagram, & Facebook.
Respect the confidential nature of all information pertaining to staff, volunteers, and campers.
Follow policies, procedures, and standards set by the American Camping Association, Girl Scouts Safety Activity Checkpoints, Colorado Department of Health and Human Services, and other certifying industry organizations.

Maintain constant and professional communication with caregivers regarding the health care and services provided to campers.
Provide support and oversight in the routine and emergency health procedures in consultation with the executive camp director and in keeping with established guidelines.
Provide a comfortable, soothing, and caring health care environment and space for all persons.
Responsible for the cleanliness, organization, care, maintenance, and inventory of the health center & medication delivery room.
Responsible for the housekeeping and laundry of the health center, including biohazard laundry.

What you will do!
As a Privacy Compliance Officer (PCO), you will support Information Security and Privacy Office (ISPO) through delivery of agency compliance and effectiveness of the privacy program that follows the agency mission and all relevant regulations.
The PCO is a shared service position servicing Oregon Department of Health of Human Services (ODHS) and Oregon Health Authority (OHA) (Hybrid entity) as the HIPAA Privacy Officer as required by law.
In this role, you will be responsible for working with all levels of management in OHA and ODHS, other state agencies, and external community partners etc. The PCO’s main role and function developing and managing the privacy compliance program, perform audits of compliance including audit plans, risk assessments and remediation plans, investigations and resolutions, and compliance and privacy related policies, procedures, education, and training in collaboration with our Awareness and Education Coordinator. PCO reviews contracts related to third party access including contractual agreements to support data protections.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, assist a warehouse team responsible for organizing and maintaining a food warehouse and with increasing the efficiency and timely delivery of food pantry services to persons living with HIV/AIDS.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver food and hygiene items to NOLP’s food pantry sites, including those managed by collaborative agencies.
Unload site’s weekly food delivery and set up food preparation shelves.
Distribute NOLP’s groceries to clients as needed.
Assist in completing intake on incoming clients and volunteers when needed, always behaving in a courteous, respectful and helpful manner.
Fill in as needed for NOLP’s Site Coordinators at NOLP locations.
Supervise volunteers and maintain an accurate accounting of volunteer hours; assist Volunteer Coordinator with volunteer recruitment activities, as well as training and scheduling of volunteers assigned to warehouse or food drive duties.
Maintain an accurate weekly inventory of food stock, including completing data entry in NOLP’s inventory program.
Organize, clean and maintain the warehouse, which includes stocking freezer, cooler and shelves and preparing client pre-bagged groceries.
Drive a 5-ton truck to make deliveries and pickups.
Assist with the maintenance of the program’s delivery vehicles (e.g., cleaning and awareness of routine mechanical service).

POSITION SUMMARY:

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the Utilization Manager and in collaboration with all Clinic Directors, the Medical Records Coordinator (MRC) is responsible for managing the medical records for all APLA Health & Wellness clinics, including preparing, scanning, and retrieving patient health records in response to internal and external requests. The medical records coordinator reviews medical records for compliance with approved policies and responds to medical records requests per APLA Health & Wellness medical records protocols/policies. The MRC is also responsible for eCW fax management for all APLA Health & Wellness clinic sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responds to requests for patient records, both within the facility and by external sources, retrieving them and transmitting them appropriately.
Creates digital images of paperwork to be stored in the electronic medical record.
Responsible for safeguarding patient records and ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
Performs other clerical tasks as needed, such as answering phones and faxing.
Suggests means by which procedures for maintaining medical records can be improved upon.
Monitor a centralized eCW fax and appropriately distribute received records/information.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the Utilization Manager and in collaboration with all Clinic Directors, the Medical Records Coordinator (MRC) is responsible for managing the medical records for all APLA Health & Wellness clinics, including preparing, scanning, and retrieving patient health records in response to internal and external requests. The medical records coordinator reviews medical records for compliance with approved policies and responds to medical records requests per APLA Health & Wellness medical records protocols/policies. The MRC is also responsible for eCW fax management for all APLA Health & Wellness clinic sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responds to requests for patient records, both within the facility and by external sources, retrieving them and transmitting them appropriately.
Creates digital images of paperwork to be stored in the electronic medical record.
Responsible for safeguarding patient records and ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
Performs other clerical tasks as needed, such as answering phones and faxing.
Suggests means by which procedures for maintaining medical records can be improved upon.
Monitor a centralized eCW fax and appropriately distribute received records/information.
Ensures that it is easy to troubleshoot problems relating to the maintenance and regular update of medical records.
Contribute to departmental quality initiative or similar projects.
Act as back-up for referral coordinators when needed.

REQUIREMENTS:
Training and Experience:
Required: High school diploma or GED. A minimum of one year of experience in a community-based organization, clinic, dental office, or healthcare related field. Must be bilingual in Spanish.
Preferred: Completion of Associate degree in Health Administration, related field of academic discipline, or possession of a certificate in Medical Assistant. Experience working with multiple benefits coverage programs including private insurance and government programs. Possession of proven organization, mathematical, and analytical skills; strong time management skills, effective interpersonal, communication skills and problem-solving skills; proven documentation and data entry management skills.
Knowledge of:
Advance computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel; HIV disease, other health disparities and co-occurring disorders, Los Angeles County HIV and primary care service delivery system, HIPAA and OSHA guidelines, medical office filing systems, quality management and basic knowledge of the eClinicalWorks Electronic Health Record system. Knowledge of managed care eligibility and authorization process. Understanding of quality assurance and performance improvement procedures. Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnosis/procedure codes. Knowledge of office billing procedures.
