The Prospect Development and Systems Manager, a new role, will be an integral development team member, providing a dynamic opportunity to help guide and facilitate development and portfolio systems while serving as the primary manager of the BGA’s WealthEngine and RelSci platforms and donor database, Raiser’s Edge.
We seek an exceedingly meticulous, self-starter who can define this role at a time of growth and innovation for the organization–in a competitive environment in both our news and policy realms. This role has two core tenets of responsibility:
As the primary manager of Raiser's Edge daily operations and functionality, they will prioritize data integrity and help inform efficient data-informed fundraising strategies. They will implement and functionalize our systems, mailed appeals and the department’s broader stewardship and engagement plans to support the BGA’s 2024 fundraising goals and tactics.
Focusing on the BGA’s prospect pipeline development and new portfolio system, they will supercharge philanthropic outreach by identifying and tiering WealthEngine and RelSci data lists, appropriately folding in, and tracking board member contacts for optimal portfolio moves management.
Prospect Development and Portfolio System Management
Collaborate closely with the Development team to align portfolio program operations with overall fundraising objectives. Co-lead bi-monthly portfolio meetings, tracking needed moves and activities across budget line prospects and supporters up for renewal.
Lead the strategic implementation and optimization of WealthEngine and RelSci’s comprehensive wealth and philanthropic screening data and relationship mapping.
Analyse WealthEngine data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for fundraising plans.

Provide weekly reports and track fundraising progress towards fiscal year goals and Board impact (give/get). Respond quickly and accurately to data retrieval requests such as mailing lists, event RSVPs, and proposal status queries.
Manage the Raiser’s Edge (RE) database by assessing existing procedures, implementing optimal business solutions to maximize its potential, and integrating best data practices and action tracking to meet future reporting and analysis requirements.

Prospect Development and Portfolio System Management
Collaborate closely with the Development team to align portfolio program operations with overall fundraising objectives. Co-lead bi-monthly portfolio meetings, tracking needed moves and activities across budget line prospects and supporters up for renewal.
Lead the strategic implementation and optimization of WealthEngine and RelSci’s comprehensive wealth and philanthropic screening data and relationship mapping.
Analyse WealthEngine data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for fundraising plans.
Leverage data insights to identify, prioritize, and segment potential donors and institutional partners to properly populate the development team’s portfolios, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Generate comprehensive reports and analysis of portfolio performance, larger fundraising and engagement plans, and wealth screening outcomes. KPIs could include donor acquisition and renewal rates, ROI analysis of appeal and engagement activities, qualification indicators and outreach (typically four points of contact per new prospect), etc.

Job Summary
The Marketing Coordinator is focused on providing technical and administrative support to The Marine Mammal Center’s Marketing & Communications department. The Marketing Coordinator is focused on providing technical and administrative support to The Marine Mammal Center’s Marketing & Communications department. Areas of responsibility include support for our CRM, email/SMS marketing efforts, and website content. The Marketing Coordinator will also support the team by providing assistance with public relations, social media, and photography.

Provide overall technical and administrative support for our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, EveryAction, public relations and social media for the Marketing & Communications department.
Execute data loads into our CRM from third party sources, including but not limited to, rescue hotline, Eventbrite, and Facebook.
Facilitate engagement form creation and reporting.
Ensure our CRM system remains up to date and processes run smoothly by continually reviewing processes and updating accordingly.
Create and send non-automated marketing emails and Short Message Services (SMS) and respond to SMS messages.
Monitor public relations media inbox and respond to requests for interviews, information, photos, and videos.
Coordinate public relations media interviews and send follow-ups after interviews.
Monitor comments on all social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X(Twitter)) and respond or flag as needed and respond to social media channel inbox messages.
Create content for social media channels including, but not limited to, writing posts and finding photos/videos.

Manage website content update process and collaborate with internal content submitters to ensure all content is ready for publication.

Duties
What makes this role unique?
In this role, you will help increase and improve the learning opportunities available to Ecology’s workforce in topics related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect (DEIR). You will do this by bringing your expertise in learning and development to collaborate with experts in DEIR, to help identify Ecology’s workforce needs and the best ways to meet those needs. Challenges may include hearing tough feedback, balancing diverse opinions, and ensuring inclusion of key interested parties; opportunities include growing in your own learning and helping our workforce to grow as well, to cocreate a workplace where all belong. What you will do:
Align all work with Ecology’s strategic efforts in DEIR, pro-equity anti-racism, accessibility, belonging, restorative justice, environmental justice, and other related efforts, such as the work of Ecology’s DEIR Design Team.
Create and support multiple channels for gathering feedback from DEIR subject matter experts and key interested parties, including convening a Learning and Development Advisory Group.
Identify potential learning opportunities to meet Ecology’s business needs and facilitate evaluation and piloting of those opportunities.
Provide consultation to Ecology’s workforce at all levels about training operations, opportunities, and services.
Administer a portfolio of learning and development opportunities, from contract development to invoice approval, to support Ecology’s strategic efforts in DEIR.
Administer Ecology’s learning management system, the Washington State Learning Center, in support of this work.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Years of required experience indicated below are full-time equivalent years. Full-time equivalent experience means that any experience where working hours were less than 40 hours per week will be prorated in order to meet the equivalency of full-time. We would calculate this by looking at the total hours worked per week, divide this by 40, and then multiply by the total number of months worked. Examples of the proration calculations are:
30 hours worked per week for 20 months: (30/40) x 20 months = 15 months full-time equivalent
20 hours worked per week for 12 months: (20/40) x 12 months = 6 months full-time equivalent

Duties
What makes this role unique?
In this role, you will help increase and improve the learning opportunities available to Ecology’s workforce in topics related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect (DEIR). You will do this by bringing your expertise in learning and development to collaborate with experts in DEIR, to help identify Ecology’s workforce needs and the best ways to meet those needs. Challenges may include hearing tough feedback, balancing diverse opinions, and ensuring inclusion of key interested parties; opportunities include growing in your own learning and helping our workforce to grow as well, to cocreate a workplace where all belong. What you will do:
Align all work with Ecology’s strategic efforts in DEIR, pro-equity anti-racism, accessibility, belonging, restorative justice, environmental justice, and other related efforts, such as the work of Ecology’s DEIR Design Team.
Create and support multiple channels for gathering feedback from DEIR subject matter experts and key interested parties, including convening a Learning and Development Advisory Group.
Identify potential learning opportunities to meet Ecology’s business needs and facilitate evaluation and piloting of those opportunities.
Provide consultation to Ecology’s workforce at all levels about training operations, opportunities, and services.
Administer a portfolio of learning and development opportunities, from contract development to invoice approval, to support Ecology’s strategic efforts in DEIR.
Administer Ecology’s learning management system, the Washington State Learning Center, in support of this work.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Years of required experience indicated below are full-time equivalent years. Full-time equivalent experience means that any experience where working hours were less than 40 hours per week will be prorated in order to meet the equivalency of full-time. We would calculate this by looking at the total hours worked per week, divide this by 40, and then multiply by the total number of months worked. Examples of the proration calculations are:
30 hours worked per week for 20 months: (30/40) x 20 months = 15 months full-time equivalent
20 hours worked per week for 12 months: (20/40) x 12 months = 6 months full-time equivalent

YOUR OPPORTUNITY
The Open Wing Alliance (OWA), a program of The Humane League, is a global coalition of 90+ animal protection organizations united in a common goal: to end the abuse of chickens worldwide. For the past several years, we have focused our efforts on eliminating battery cages by securing cage-free policies from major retailers, restaurants, and manufacturers. We specialize in institutional campaigning, a strategic approach that can be tailored to our members’ unique circumstances and challenges. It also pays off; in the past year alone, OWA groups secured 23 global cage-free policies and over 160 regional cage-free policies.
As the Digital Campaign Action Specialist, known internally as the Global Campaign Mobilization Specialist, you play an integral role in supporting global and regional campaigns through the management of the action app, a web-based application which enables supporters to take digital campaign actions. You will work closely with the Global Campaigns team to set up impactful actions that contribute to campaign victories, and you will develop and carry out a plan for mobilizing supporters around the world, including regional segmentation and supporter-building initiatives. You will also lead, train, and support OWA members in their use of the action app.
You are ideal for this position because you have excellent technology skills and attention to detail, which will enable you to effectively leverage our in-house advocacy platforms. You are familiar with social media and possess the organization and communication skills needed to mobilize OWA member organizations. This position reports directly to the Senior Global Corporate Campaigns Manager.
This is a temporary, full-time, remote position . The temporary hire will provide coverage while a permanent staff member is on leave. Employment is expected to begin on approximately July 1st, 2024 and end on approximately July 31st, 2025. The duration of employment may be extended or shortened at The Humane League’s discretion. Work closely with the Global Campaigns team to plan, design, and monitor impactful actions that will advance our cage-free work and secure victories in global campaigns.
Manage and develop our digital action platform. Lead supporter-building initiatives, with the aim of increasing the number of global action-takers. Incorporate regional segmentation of actions, allowing OWA groups greater use of the app to build and support regional campaigns.
Train and oversee OWA member groups in their use of the action app. Serve as the point of contact for any issues or questions that arise.
Conceive and implement strategies to motivate supporters and OWA members to take digital actions.
Manage sharing of the action app space, considering the needs of various campaigns and stakeholders in determining which regional actions to prioritize.

REQUIRED SKILLS

As the Digital Campaign Action Specialist, known internally as the Global Campaign Mobilization Specialist, you play an integral role in supporting global and regional campaigns through the management of the action app, a web-based application which enables supporters to take digital campaign actions. You will work closely with the Global Campaigns team to set up impactful actions that contribute to campaign victories, and you will develop and carry out a plan for mobilizing supporters around the world, including regional segmentation and supporter-building initiatives. You will also lead, train, and support OWA members in their use of the action app.

Clinical Direction and Oversight for Assessment & Evaluation Behavioral Residential Program
Provide oversight of clinical operations of the program.

Monitors employee compliance with policy and procedure and keeps JSD Director advised of staff issues.
Set goals and objectives for the unit in alignment with the Department’s overall mission and vision.
Continuously review and evaluate the quality of services provided by individual work teams.
Provide leadership, strategy, and advice, driving the programmatic work of the Restorative Practices team.
The Restorative Practices team includes the Hands of Wonder garden, Detention restorative practice coordinator, and Court and Community Services restorative practice coordinator.
The programmatic work includes developing and implementing restorative practice training programs, designing and facilitating, restorative circles or meetings, creating policies and procedures for restorative approaches, evaluating the effectiveness of restorative interventions, and collaborating with other internal and external stakeholders to promote restorative practices.
Provide leadership for interagency collaborations that will improve policies and procedures to better youth and families impacted by the Juvenile Justice system.
Research evidence based practices related to subject matter expertise, including topics on trauma, cultural responsivity, and reducing overrepresentation of marginalized populations in the Juvenile Justice system.

The Department of Community Justice (DCJ) is recognized as a national leader in both adult and juvenile community justice. DCJ routinely consults and makes use of evidence-based practices in our program and policy development. The Department's commitment to data-informed decision-making has led DCJ to make smart investments of taxpayer dollars in supervision, sanctions, and services for the county's highest risk and highest need justice-involved individuals. Everyday, Multnomah County staff work together to serve as a safety net for our communities. During a disaster, this safety net becomes even more critical. All County employees have a role in serving the public during inclement weather, natural disaster, or other types of community emergency response. Position Overview
America Votes is seeking a talented staff or project manager and mid-senior campaign strategist for a full-time position as Ohio Deputy State Director. The Deputy State Director will take a strategic, collaborative, and flexible approach to their work with the state coalition and the coordination of strategies between state based partner organizations and national partners. Qualifications Required

What you will do!
This management level position will make recommendations and execute strategic objectives and plans set forth by administrators and agency leadership. This manager will be accountable for operationalizing safety net clinic Medicaid policy including, but not limited to, robust ongoing planning and implementation of new authorities under the HB 4002 (2024).
The position will ensure the programs are operated in compliance with federal and state regulations. They will assign work, coach, and manage direct reports. In regard to HB 4002, this position will work with Health Policy and Analytics and Behavioral Health Divisions to move the CCBCH program to a sustained, statewide program with CMS.

Qualifications
Required
Ideal candidates will have at least 1 cycle of experience in progressive political campaigns, progressive non-profits or similar organizations (with a campaign focus), or similar transferable experience. Ideal candidates will have experience with direct voter contact and canvass operations.
Experience working with underrepresented and/or historically marginalized communities, particularly in electoral or political settings.
Strong sense of ownership and resilience with respect to planning ahead, finding alternative paths when needed, and moving forward after setbacks. Demonstrated a bility to move people to action and hold them accountable with and without formal authority.
Familiarity with VAN (Voter Activation Network) or similar systems is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to be able to practice confidentiality, discretion and legal compliance in the work.
Familiarity with early vote, vote by mail, and voter mobilization programs. Familiarity with young voter programs including campus organizing models is a plus. Understanding of common voter contact methods like canvass, mail, and phone programs and applying those to persuasion and mobilization efforts, including early vote. Understanding of digital programs, relational programs, or broadcast programs a plus
Ability to work independently and to drive and manage own workload; ability to manage several tasks/projects concurrently and prioritize work effectively by making and meeting team goals.

Direct Voter Contact Program Support : Support coalition campaign work on field tactics implementation (like canvassing), including supporting the integration of best practices. Support electoral and advocacy program implementation across partner organizations including script development and support some partners in using VAN (Voter Activation Network). This work may include developing systems or updating existing systems to manage the information, advance training, and strengthen the integration of best practices in the work. This work may include voting rights and election administration.
Program Implementation Support : Support meetings of coalition partners, which may include work groups on election-related topics such as campus programs, ballot initiatives, down ballot programs (congressional, state legislative, etc). Support events of America Votes partners and allies including coalition meetings and trainings, canvassing events, phone banks, and other direct voter contact events. Support program implementation through program participation, basic VAN administration, supporting program training and debrief activities, and support in using direct voter contact tools.

Qualifications
Required
Ideal candidates will have at least 1 cycle of experience in progressive political campaigns, progressive non-profits or similar organizations (with a campaign focus), or similar transferable experience. Ideal candidates will have experience with direct voter contact and canvass operations.
Experience working with underrepresented and/or historically marginalized communities, particularly in electoral or political settings.
Strong sense of ownership and resilience with respect to planning ahead, finding alternative paths when needed, and moving forward after setbacks. Demonstrated a bility to move people to action and hold them accountable with and without formal authority.
Familiarity with VAN (Voter Activation Network) or similar systems is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to be able to practice confidentiality, discretion and legal compliance in the work.
Familiarity with early vote, vote by mail, and voter mobilization programs. Familiarity with young voter programs including campus organizing models is a plus. Understanding of common voter contact methods like canvass, mail, and phone programs and applying those to persuasion and mobilization efforts, including early vote. Understanding of digital programs, relational programs, or broadcast programs a plus
Ability to work independently and to drive and manage own workload; ability to manage several tasks/projects concurrently and prioritize work effectively by making and meeting team goals.
Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Drive with emphasis on using Excel, Powerpoint, Google Slides and Google Sheets. Must have the ability to manage a high volume of campaign data as well as create informational decks/slideshows.
Ability to travel within the state (as needed); ability to work irregular campaign style hours, especially during the peak months of the electoral cycle. Attend and lead meetings in person one-on-one, in small groups, and in large coalition meeting settings.
Candidates should have a spirit of service and curiosity, along with a diplomatic approach to problem-solving in work with outside partners and while working independently or on a team.
Preferred
Ideal candidates will have experience with data and targeting, using data to inform organizing and electoral campaign strategies. Familiarity with integrating research and best practices into a program is a plus.
Familiarity with digital tools.
High level of competency with google sheets and manipulating a large volume of data
Experience or training in race equity/anti-racist frameworks; a general understanding of how power. intersects with gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation and class in organizing and electoral settings.
Compensation
The minimum salary for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 ($5,000-5,833/month) with a potential election year bonus, based on performance and the state's election landscape.
